Dallas is home to Forest City Texas, one of the Company's regional offices.  

Forest City’s growing presence in the Texas real estate market includes the Mercantile on Main residential community, made up of three apartment buildings in downtown Dallas.

• The Merc, a 31-story icon of a building. An adaptive reuse of the historic Mercantile Bank Building, it is a one-of-a-kind residential tower.
• The Element, a 15-story new construction building with strong Modernist influences. It is linked to The Merc via a shared amenity core and courtyard.
• The Wilson, a local landmark featuring loft-style apartments. This historic building was built in 1904 and patterned after the Paris Opera House.

In addition, the Company has made significant investments across the state, including land projects in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and El Paso.
